Arête des Cosmiques

So once we topped out on the Éperon, we had to get back to the lift station, finishing via the Arête des Cosmiques!..

So I got to Chamonix in the late afternoon, and found Stephen...

The next day, I went to the SBB station, got a 1/2-price pass, and a ticket to Zermatt

Four hours later, I was in town...

I had one night in Geneva before heading to Zermatt...

So this year’s climbing trip called for a week in Zermatt, and then the Haute Route, via the glacier route...

So after Black Peak, I had a 4-week hiatus from climbing due to some business travel that made me miss two weekends in Seattle...

So after the slog that was Argonaut, it was recommended I try Black Peak…

And boyyyyy, I’m so glad I got to climb this peak!..

So for the class’ first Alpine outing, I was assigned Argonaut Peak, with Kati, Tyler, and Curtis!..

This is a long post… In between some of the ACC outings, I went to Smith Rock for the first time, to climb with some friends!..
