We decided not to climb on Friday due to the forecasts, so we decided to take a day trip to Zermatt! We got there in the morning, and hopped on the Gornergrat; while the skies were still clear!

It had only been a year since my last trip here, but these views never get old!

The cloud machine that is the Matterhorn started up when we arrived at Riffelhorn!

And an hour or so later?!

The views of the Breithorn were good too!

…as were views of the Monte Rosa Massif!

We walked around town, shopped a bit, ate some foods, and eventually went back to Saas Fee to pack.

The next day, we took the train back to Zurich; to meet up with the rest of the team. We drove into Zurich and got dinner at Lucky Dumpling before our flights back home the next day.

In a prank that didn’t go as planned, Sara’s phone was reset, and she lost all of her photos… Thus, she dished out the punishment in the form of a bad batch of chili-pepper chocolates…
