So London… I’ve gone through LHR over six times, but I’ve never stepped out of the airport. Thus, I decided to spend a weekend here to end the trip. A few days before, Hilton contacted me to say that they’d have to place me in another hotel for one of the two nights, due to a reservation snafu… but it ended up being just fine. I arrived on Saturday, checked in, and ventured out to see some sights… First up was Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and other default stuff. It was pretty packed, so I went to visit Soho
I wandered around and found this place for dinner. If you’re ever in London, go to there, and eat a lot.
Afterwards, I ventured off to the Tate Modern! Here’s a photo, of a photo, of my favorite place in the world.
The crowds in the evening were kind of light.
To be honest, I just wanted to chill at the hotel… like this…
Sunset created some neat lighting.
Like I said, it was pretty empty
So this is my favorite piece. Yayoi Kusama’s, The Passing Winter. It’s a mirrored box with holes in it. When you look inside, it turns into the freaking Matrix.
If you take the red pill, you can jump all the way in…
When the sun was getting low, the skies started to glow a bit…
What is that city in the photo of a photo?
Tokyo!
