Genève

On Friday, we all had to depart Zermatt. I was headed to Geneva for the day, to catch a flight to London. Rachel was on her way to Chamonix via Geneva, and Joe had to get to Château de Chillon for the afternoon, and then catch another train to Zürich.

One last photo of the two!

At Geneva Airport, I said goodbye to Rachel, and made my way to the airport hotel. Geneva gives all visitors free access to their public transit system, so I went downtown to explore a bit. It was SUPER HOT, so I sought shelter in the narrow streets…

Old European cities are pretty, yea?

To be honest, I wasn’t looking to see anything in particular, but I happened upon Cathédrale Saint-Pierre, so I went inside

I’d rate it 6/10.

It had nice stained glass though…

After this, I wandered around town, found dinner, went back to the hotel, to figure out how I was going to spend my last two days in London!
