The plan was to get chicken and waffles at this brunch spot on the edge of the neighborhood, so we had to do some walking. We walked by some residential towers, and well, check out their plumbing lines. AMAZING WORK.

We also walked by a city park, where folks met up to play Kendama!!!

After brunch, we went shopping for a refrigerator, and lemme tell ya, Japanese fridges are money. They have purpose-built compartments for fish, veggies, green onions, bottles of Pocari Sweat. Everything is thoroughly thought out. I wanted to import one to the states, but I probably couldn’t declare it as checked luggage…

After this, Ami joined us, as we had dinner plans. We had some time to kill, so she took us to a neko cafe!?!

We eventually got dinner at a gyoza restaurant that was great. We got desserts, and said our good nights and goodbyes…
The next day, I went knife shopping in Kappabashi

Tsubaya is probably my fav shop

They. Have. Everything. My interaction there can be summed up as this….
Store owner: How much are you willing to spend?
Me: Everything
Store owner: How much do you want?
Me: All of it
Store owner looking to staff: We’re closing early, y’all! Tonight, we’re drinking beers out of a bottle!

Then, I got quick bite at a fast-casual sushi joint; that would kick any Seattle shop’s butt.

The subway had posters letting us know that you shouldn’t be a shitty zucchini.

I eventually kind of stumbled into a Toyota place… that had Fernando Alonso’s 24h of LeMans winning Toyota TS050 Hybrid!!!

The car was surprisingly small

This pretty much sums up how I spent my non-gallery time. The next post will be about that.
