So in the past few weeks, I visited Paul Allen’s new gallery, Pivot Art + Culture, the Henry Art Gallery, and a few others during Seattle’s First Thursday.
First up was Pivot Art. Paul Allen sure does have a lot of money!
This hyper realstic sculpture kid was creepy…
Next up was the Henry Art Gallery. They were showing Pae White’s Command-Shift-4 installation, which reminded me of Gabriel Dawe’s Plexus A1 at the Renwick. I liked Dawe’s use of thread better, where clusters were used to create a stronger visual impact… Nevertheless, White’s installation was impressive.
Darius X had some nice pieces at Gallery 4Culture in Pioneer Square.
