A few weeks ago, I took Monday off, slept in, ate a good lunch, and went on a late afternoon hike to Snow Lake. This was actually my first local hike since the attempt on Little Tahoma…

The sun was already setting as I made my way up the trail, but that made for some pretty awesome light with the fall colors

I kind of forgot how nice Snow Lake can be… I did this hike back in 2008, but I didn’t spend much time at the lake. Being late afternoon, on a Monday, there were only a handful of folks here.

After this, the temps dipped quickly, so I packed the camera up, and made my way back down to the car
