Shortly after returning from the big vacation, I was off to SFO with frisbee friends to attend one of our teammates’ wedding!
A friend and I booked an early morning flight on United, where we got our upgrades, and where we enjoyed lovely morning views of the Puget Sound
We arrived at 9am, and after getting our rental, we made our way to the city center. We decided to check out the Golden Gate Bridge and the Presidio. We found some excellent parking and made our way onto the bridge
The NPS did a good job of documenting the effort that went into designing and building the bridge. I can’t imagine riveting these towers…
Aftewards, we checked out Fort Point, which had a spiral staircase… spiral staircases are the best…

Afterwards, we got lunch and beers at Belga, in the nearby Cow Hollow neighborhood, and then ran some errands. Then we made our ways towards AT&T Park, where we were meeting up with the rest of our team, who were flying in later. We got caught up in afternoon traffic, but still got to the park a little early, so we grabbed some more beers at bar outside of the stadium (Woodbury).
The next day, we all got fancy for Laura and Evan’s big day
Craig was kind of new to drinking, and disliked most non-Gin based drinks. He didn’t like martini’s though…
