Tokyo

16-hours after I returned from Little Tahoma, I was on a flight to Tokyo for work. It was a hectic span of laundry, packing, emails, and errands. One lovely thing that happened when I arrived at my hotel was finding that I got the upgraded to a suite for the week!

Here’s the living room. I think the whole place was bigger than my apartment.

^I want to build a tiny home and just make it this…

I’m really digging the maternity ward’s logo. Why can’t we have nice logos here?

Is it weird that I enjoy people watching from my room?

This trip was a little different from the rest; as I got to work with a local airline. They took us on some cool tours, and we got to see how they maintained maintained their fleet of Gundam!

OK, I lied…

Maintenance!

Test labs!

Another view!

On the second day, they let us putter around the airport

Something something big wheels?

But we were only outside for a little bit before they made us go inside

Where we got a lift to the gate

…and observed how they prep a flight

On the third day, I visited my favorite supplier via my favorite rapid train.
