The second week would be spent in Frankfurt and Herborn. It had snowed a few inches during the flight, and apparently Frankfurt deals with snow as well as the City of Seattle.
The weather caused a 1.5h delay getting from the airport to the main station (the trip usually takes about 20-minutes total). We had to get off the train a few times to pick up other rail lines, as everything was thrown into utter chaos…
We finally made it, and I spent the afternoon at the Städel Museum. Afterwards, I met my co-worker for dinner
The obvious meeting point was the local Christmas Market…
We transferred to Herborn the next morning
Their Christmas game was strong as well
The rest of the week was spent in conference rooms, and working from the hotel room. I was ready to head home… and very pleased with the views while descending into LHR
Where were you sitting on the flight into LHR?
I always end up with jet wash or the entire wing from my rearward seats… is business class the only place for taking ground shots?! (slash out of economy when the plane is banking)
Your assessment is pretty spot on. I was in J on one of their older 777-200’s… the F cabin pushes the entire J cabin AFT quite a bit:
