Zermatt

The day after our trip the Breithorn, we all slept in, and in the morning, we struggled to think of things to do. Crazy, right? Anywho, we decided to head up to the Gornergrat via the train. Chris and Lawrence bought MTB passes, to have unlimited rides up. Meanwhile, Xing and I bought tickets that allowed us to hike around the ridge.

The train had excellent views of the valley. As usual, clouds rolled in during the afternoon.

ROBOTS

The train brought you from the valley (5,276-ft) to the top of the ridge (10,285-ft). The infrastructure never ceased to amaze me…

At the top, you could get incredible views of Gorner Glacier and Monte Rosa massif…

The alpine vegetation was… cute?

On our stroll down, the Riffelhorn came into view. The Matterhorn remained hidden…

The train that brought us up…

After a few hours, we caught a train back down, to meet up with Chris, Rachel, and Lawrence. We ended up cooking dinner, and enjoying the views of the Matterhorn from our balcony

…and we ended the night by stalking each other on Instagram!!! #2016
