So my summer challenge is to do one hike per week. In the four weeks that have passed, I’ve gone on two. I missed two hikes due to a frisbee tournament, and another hike due to food poisoning. I’ll have to make up those two hikes in the upcoming weeks.

I’ve wanted to hike in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness for a long time, but for some reason have put it off. I made the trek up to Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest yesterday and boy, was it worth it! I’ll have to visit some of the other lakes, or try to nab a permit for the Enchantment Area at some point…
