The next day, we were hoping to visit the Greek island of Samos, but by the time we woke up and got going, we found out that we had missed the ferry. DOH! It was fine though, as we spent the morning lounging around a cafe for a long breakfast, and the rest of the day was spent wandering around Kusadası and getting to know the local cats. I mention the cats because they were EVERYWHERE, and also because I got scratched by one, which prompted a rabies scare. I emailed my doctor(s) and they basically replied with, “ain’t no thang yo…” but the anxious me decided to look up every article on WebMD, to make myself a little more paranoid. Anyways, here are some views from the town…

So Kusadası is really small, and we were still a bit jetlagged, so after a while, we returned to the hotel and did some research on the rest of our Turkish adventure…. and watched a bunch of random stuff on youtube (OK, it was mainly all of the Thai tearjerker commercials, and some airplane videos)… A few hours later, it was dinner time, where we also got some nice views of the sunset
