Furano

Hello! After departing Daisetsuzan National Park, we drove through Furano, in central Hokkaido, famous for its flower fields. We were thinking that the fields wouldn’t be in season, but we were very wrong!

Aaron’s the house, I’m the flower, annnnnd Karen didn’t get the memo…

Post flower fields, we made our way to a farm for to try out some Genghis Khan, which is Hokkaido’s take on grilling your own meat (think yakiniku, but with lamb). T’was delicious!

The view from the farm!

Some more dramatic skies, along the way to our next pitstop, Otaru!
