I’m finally getting around to finishing off the pics from the trip. After Singapore, we ventured off to Phuket, Thailand for 3 days of sun, food and relaxation on Kata beach.
Looking back, I probably would not return to Phuket – It’s been developed to the point of no return. Most restaurants catered to Westerners and there wasn’t much in terms of sightseeing… Although, it was awesomely cheap, the spa at the hotel was amazing, and it waaaas a nice vacation from all the sight seeing.
I want to see some beaches in Greece…
We left Singapore bright and early.. weather seemed alright for “monsoon season…”
Things got cloudier as we got closer…

We arrive at our resort… minus my luggage…
We decide walk through town:
Kata is tailored towards tourism (espicially the Swedes), and interestingly enough, the Aerospace Engineers…
The beach was filled with these sand formations/patterns… It appeared that air would get trapped in the sand, and when it escaped over time, these formed.
We were able to catch the sunset!

The second day was filled with time at the beach, the pool and the hotel spa 😀
