It was going to be another sunny-in-the-morning, and then rainy-in-the-afternoon day, so we decided to hit up the Breithorn.
Since I last went up, Zermatt had upgraded their gondolas
Almost there, with a Bond villain’s alpine base kind of vibe
We got ready in at the lift station and then set out!
It was bright and sunny. There are many folks out.
Looking towards Pollux and Castor… next trip…
Those clouds in the back were moving quick, so we got going.
The precipitation met us at the lift station
Looking back at the Breithorn! Honestly, this time on the mountain was pretty much the same as the first time in terms of sun, then afternoon storms.
We spent the afternoon cleaning, resting, and eating. When the sun came back out, we roamed around town and ate chocolate.
This jacket was like a couple thousand. The saleslady in the store tried REALLY HARD to convince us to buy it, haha!
If you’ve ever wondered what a mountaineering boot looks like inside… now you know.
We then got groceries, made dinner at our rental, watched a bunch of Netflix stand-up shows, and packed up for Paris!
