So after Climb Time in Italy, I hopped over to Frankfurt, to catch a flight to Seoul! I feel like FRA is the hub of my life! Just about all of my trips to Europe route me through Frankfurt, or I just wind up in Frankfurt for work… Anywho, during the flight from VIE-FRA, our descent provided a PERFECT views of the Lufthansa/Star Alliance terminal! I’m so glad this shot came out so sharp!

New paint, old plane!

So I got into Frankfurt pretty early, and my flight to Seoul wasn’t until much later. I had about 5-hrs to kill, so I went to the lounge and grabbed an early lunch.

The lighting was pretty neat. I could use some of these in my dining area…

Still life.

An hour or so before my flight, I took a shower and went to the gate. The main reason I booked this flight, was because I have never flown on the A-Team’s A340… This was the only widebody (in service) I had not flown on, and this flight solved that problem. So! I present to you, the airplane that the 777 put out of production! I couldn’t wait to board! WOOO!

You go there! I’ll go here! So the interior was pretty much like the A330. Nothing too special. Lufthansa’s interiors are also generally all-business, which is fine.

I was able to snag a bulkhead seat, which meant I didn’t have to play footsie with my neighbor 🙂

I still love this wing and the engine nacelles…

Climbing out of FRA took forever, as expected. By the time we were cruising, the moon was rising.

The flight was uneventful. The only Korean attendant in J handled my side of the cabin. She introduced herself in Korean, and proceeded to go over the menu in Korean. I explained I didn’t understand any Korean 😛 and she lol’d. I then watched some Korean films, and ate some Korean food.

Oh, and I took this photo in the lavatory. I <3 quad-jets…
